About Morten Strange
In 1986, Morten left his job as a petroleum engineer in Singapore to work with nature conservation; he has been involved in nature documentation, promotion and marketing ever since. He is now director of our associated company, Draco Publishing and Distribution Pte Ltd.
About Ng Bee Choo
Ever a kampong girl at heart, Bee Choo used to hang out at her aunt's kampong house during the school holidays when she was young. From collecting birds stamps as a teenager till joining the Malayan Nature Society in 1987, it was somewhat inevitable that she founded Nature's Niche in 1995 - at a time when Singapore lacked a specialise shop on nature books and souvenirs. She was the NNS bird group secretary 1990-1996 when she left to concentrate on Nature's Niche, first at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, later at the Singapore Botanic Gardens and since August 2008 at Orchidville off Mandai Road.
